Dr. Mal Brandon (Chairman) and Dr.Richard Fry (Chief Executive Officer) founded Clone Australia in 2000.  

Dr Mal Brandon has twenty-six years experience in research, development and production of biological products.  He was a Director of the Centre for Animal Biotechnology from 1990 - 1998.  Dr Brandon has published over 200 research papers, reviews and book chapters.  He is a popular presenter at Australian and International Scientific Meetings.  He is an inventor of over 100 patents granted worldwide.  He is currently a Director of Castella Research Pty Ltd, Stem Cell Sciences Pty Ltd, Smart Drug Systems Inc, and Clone International Pty Ltd.

Dr Richard Fry graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and obtained a PhD in reproductive physiology from Monash University in 1988. From 1990 - 1997 Dr Fry worked as a senior research scientist in the Physiology section of the Victorian Department of Agriculture at Werribee, Victoria, where he established a successful embryology group.  He has published over 30 scientific papers and over 40 abstract proceedings that have been presented at national and international conferences.  In 1997, Dr Fry founded the Animal Reproduction Company, an innovative company that applies novel and "cutting edge" reproductive technologies to  agricultural animals. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and has supervised many post-graduate students
